Touching and inspiring film adaptation of the children's book of the same name by Tamara Bos. Because her newly divorced mother has a lot on her plate at work, Romy goes to her grandmother Stine's after school, who is quite busy herself, however, as she runs a hairdressing salon. Romy soon notices that Stine is becoming increasingly forgetful and suddenly lapses into Danish when she speaks. Stine also begins to talk more and more about her childhood in Denmark. Although Romy is worried, she does everything she can to prevent others from noticing Stine's confusion. One day, however, when Stine is standing in the salon in her nightgown, her condition can no longer be concealed and she is soon sent to a nursing home. Romy wants her grandma to be well and comes up with an adventurous plan to cheer Stine up again.
